DURING WET WEATHER CONDITIONS, IT IS BEST TO CALL, 608-364-1909, BEFORE COMING TO MAKE SURE WE ARE OPEN. THE FIRST MESSAGE WOULD STATE IF WE ARE CLOSED FOR THE DAY.

We open each year on or about April 1st, and close on November 30th. We only accept organic material. Never bring rocks, stones, cement, shingles, treated or painted wood, metals of any kind, or Non-organic materials to Leaflan.
Leaflan Compost Center's drop-off site is free for all City and Town of Beloit residents.
Residents from other surrounding areas (South Beloit, Rockton, Roscoe, Machesney Park, Loves Park, etc.) are also welcome for a modest annual fee.
All Commercial Contractors, Lawn Contractors, and Haulers must pay a fee each time they use Leaflan.
