We open each year on or about April 1st, and close on November 30th. We only accept organic material. Never bring rocks, stones, cement, shingles, treated or painted wood, metals of any kind, or Non-organic materials to Leaflan. "If you did not grow it, do not throw it at Leaflan"
Leaflan Compost Center will continue to take care of all your yard waste needs as we have done for the last 20 years. However, the City of Beloit will no longer be paying for their residents to use Leaflan's drop-off site.
New in 2012: All residents (no matter where you live) are welcome at Leaflan but now must pay an annual fee of $35 to use Leaflan Compost Center's drop-off site! All Commercial Contractors, Lawn Contractors, and Haulers must pay a fee each time they use Leaflan!
It is not necessary to pay the $35 annual fee if you only want to purchase compost.
